During the May long weekend in Ontario, a few people drown, most are in a canoe due to cold water shock. Paul Tarsitano will present on this subject and will discuss prevention, signs and symptoms, and treatment of immersion and acute hypothermia. Hands on making a hypothermia wrap as well as, dressing for the outdoors, the 1 10 1 rule for cold water and some short videos.
