Itinerary:
FIRST an Urban Hike - Main subway station to the beach, approx. 4km at a swift pace.

Once we hit the beach, we'll take advantage of the beautiful weather forecasted and attempt to play Foot Volley for some fun and extra exercise. WE'll hopefully also take advantage of the fact that it's still March and the volleyball players won't be using the courts yet. I'll have a lightweight, bouncy ball the size of a soccer ball this time out, instead of a soccer ball. I'll also bring an improvised net. This will NOT be league play, but it should be fun anyway!

This is the ultimate goal of this outing - footvolley. Please don't sign up if you have no intention of trying it.

Footvolley is a combination of soccer and volley ball. You can use any part of your body to get the ball over the net, just NOT YOUR HANDS. So head, feet, shoulders, ears, whatever. We will be playing fast and loose with the rules I have a feeling, unless there are purists in the group.

(NOTE: IF ANYONE HAS A RATTAN BALL, PLEASE BRING IT ALONG, I'D LIKE TO TRY SEPAK TAKRAW ALSO IF POSSIBLE, although it should be played on a floor and not sand but...more fast and loose with them there rules)

Afterward we can get some coffee and/or lunch and hike back together or take public transit.
