Early Bird East End Excursion (2/27/2010)

Itinerary:


Early birds get worms, early humans get to explore a quiet city as it wakes up and comes to life.

From Main Street Subway station we'll be heading down to the lake by way of lovely streets and parkland.

Architecture fans will marvel at the art deco beauty that is the RC Harris filtration plant. Then we'll head West towards downtown through the Distillery District and more.

This is a one way walk where our official end point is Queen Street Subway Station. Total distance +/- 12KM.

Required Items to Bring:


Comfortable walking shoes. We'll be mainly on sidewalks but there are some paths too.

Weather appropriate clothing, walk goes on rain/shine/snow etc.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:TTC to Main Street Subway Station, head to collector booth. Look for me and Woody (my yellow mutt) there.
