Itinerary:
This will be an easy walking tour of harbourfront and industrial environs - the main purpose will be to take photos of the land/city scapes and any "found" still life you might encounter on the way. Sorry Victor - pictures of people are strictly forbidden! : )

I will give the group a few "themes" to choose from and they can go about taking pictures based on how they interpret that. It might be a phrase or one word, etc. You can go wild and be as creative as you want - PLEASE! the more creative the better! - with a few rules:

(WE WILL TRAVEL BACK IN TIME TO A MORE "COSTLY" ERA OF PHOTOGRAPHY, IF ONLY IN OUR IMAGINATIONS...)

A)You must use your digital camera as if it were a film camera and therefore each shot must count as if you would be wasting expensive film and later chemicals and energy in order to develop your pictures.

B)You will only be allowed to take 12 photographs all day. This is not DELETING some shots, this is ONLY TAKING TWELVE pictures and keeping them. Deleting is unheard of and unacceptable on this hike!

C)Composition will be the most important aspect of your photographs as well as considerations such as colour and/or black and white and you and only you will decide on any creative decisions like that. But most of your time will be spent thinking about good compositions as pertains to the theme and setting up your photographs.

D)As mentioned, no pictures of humans (or animals this time around. In fact, humans will not be allowed in these shots at all, which makes it even trickier and more fun!

This hike should get the juices flowing - mentally/physically/creatively and funly. The results (if you want to submit them to me later) will be posted on the website with captions. I may have to limit to your very best ones and will ask YOU TO EDIT YOURSELF and then send me your best.
