Itinerary:
Come and develop your cardio / stamina in this conditioning / punishment session. This will NOT be a slow walk. We will be faster than 5km per hour.

Our slogan: "Fire comes out of our shoes!!!". The current record is 6K and we will try to break it!!!

There is no major difficulty in the terrain, just a couple of hills, but we will be hiking in a fast pace. Please notice that the trail conditions on this event are really less rough than any trail in the Wilderness. Do not assume that you are ready for the wilderness, especially my D4 events in the Bruce Trail that for sure will be more demanding.

The Pace will be set by the fastest person hiking in the group, the others (including me) will try to catch him/her. You are allowed to light jogging / running only to catch-up with the faster hiker.

You are by your own, if you get separated from the rest of the group. Do not panic you still will be in the city: take the TTC,a cabs or call a friend. No search rescue team will be looking for you and no 911 call will be made. The faster hikers will not wait for anyone in intersections.

If you are really tired, feel free to drop-off at any point of the trail, just tell me, or if you do not see me, just leave a message in my voice mail.

Breaks: You can take as many as you want, but no one will stop for you; you need to catch-up with the rest of the group.

We will follow this path:

  1. Depart from St. Clair station
  2. Cross David Balfour Park
  3. Explore houses around Summerhill street
  4. Walk around Walker Street
  5. Cross the Glen Edyth Drive Parkette
  6. Follow the path toward Wiston Churchil Park
  7. Cross St. Clair West Station
  8. Follow all the way north throught Cedarvale Ravine
  9. Arrive to Eglinton West Station
  10. Follow the Belt Line
  11. Pass beside the Mount Pleasant Cementery
  12. Follow the Moore Ravine south
  13. Follow the Vale of Avoca ravine north
  14. Arrive back to St. Clair
This hike will be 16.1km, including Belt Line and Central Ravines Discovery Walk and more

Some part of the trail will be muddy.

Days are getting longer, but just in case, it is good idea to bring your flash-light

How to Get There:
Event Directions:St. Clair Subway Station is located at Yonge and St Clair Ave. East. Look for me at the entrance of the station, just passing the turnstiles. Besides the Mc Donalds in the south sidewalk of St. Clair Ave. East. Notice that there is a new McDonalds in the street cars platform inside the station, that is the WRONG McDonalds!!!
