Itinerary:

Come and explore the Massasauga Provincial Park by canoe with my family (Heather, Steven(15), Jane(11) and Misty Morning(4). It's a world of wind sweep islands and hidden coves and ship wrecks, covering more than 13,000 hectares along Georgian Bay coast from Moon River to Parry Sound. Help me find the wreck of the Waubuno and explore Wreck Island. Maybe we'll see some Osprey's?

We will depart from Downsview on Friday morning at 10AM and will be driving up to the park. We will pick up our canoes at Pete's Place(at the park). Be prepared for a 4 day trip exploring the partially sheltered waters of Georgian bay. We will be covering ~50 km in total. About ~15 km a day at a casual steady pace. Be prepared for about 5-6 hours paddling per day. There are a few portages depending on our route selected(~1km total).

This trip is open to intermediate and advance experience canoeing individuals only.

1.Please provide a brief summary of your canoeing/interior camping experience to be accepted on this trip.
