Itinerary:

Distance: 13.5 km
Terrain: very hilly with rolling sections

Great views along the escarpment and a variety of terrain along the trails. The hike will be a mix of main Bruce trail and side trails, with lunch somewhere along the way.

What is a "slowpoke" hike? This means that the coordinator will lead from the back of the line and we will pace ourselves according to the slowest hikers (usually 2.5-3.5 km/hour). We will also allow stops for photos, to look at wildflowers or birds, etc. and will have a lunch stop of 20-30 minutes. Although the distance and pace will be about the same, this will be a bit harder than other slowpoke hikes we've done so far this year, as it is very hilly. We will be hiking at a moderate pace (approx 3 km/hr) but be prepared for a good cardio workout going up those hills if you are not in great shape!

Please note:
- there is no "meet at event" option for this hike. All hikers must meet at the carpool point.
- we will be leaving Downsview at 9:15; plan to be there 15 minutes earlier so that we can check attendance, collect waivers and make carpool assignments.
