Come for a tour of historic Fort York and have lunch in either China Town or Little Italy!
Historic Fort York, the location of the Battle of York during the War of 1812 is the 1793 birthplace of modern Toronto. It is home to Canada's largest collection of original War of 1812 buildings and is designated as a National Historic site. For more info see Web Site After Fort York, we will fast forward 200 years into today’s multiethnic Toronto, wander into Chinatown or Little Italy and settle down for a late lunch. We will choose the restaurant based on weather (If it is nice out we can sit on a patio in Little Italy. If the weather is inclement we can head to Chinatown). If you need to reach me, my cell phone is 416 830-6160. The admission to Fort York is Adult: $6.00, Senior (65+): $3.25, Youths (13-18 yrs.): $3.25, Children (12 -): $3. Lunch cost should be between $10 to $15 per person. You can join us for either or both the historical or gustatory portion of the event, just contact me by cell 416 830-6160. | |||||||
