Downtown Water Fountain hunting (4/18/2009)

Itinerary:
We will start at Union Station and we will follow the path describe by Toronto Hiking (map available here), hunting for the hidden water fountains in Toronto Downtown.

According to the map there are 31 fountains, let’s see how many we can found.

In total we will walk 9kms in a moderate pace (less than 4K per hour), since the coordinator legs will be soaring after climbing the CN Tower.

We will be walking in a completely urban environment (we are not getting inside the Ravines), we will be taking some sections of the PATH.

IMPORTANT: Please sign-un for this event ONLY if you are a WEATHER-Proof hiker. This event will run under the sun, the rain or the snow. We are in spring, that means showers. You must have a 100% commitment of assisting this event regardless of weather conditions.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:We will meet at The Great Hall (the one where you buy the tickets), look for me near by the clock in the middle of the Hall.

Union Station is located at 65 Front Street West (intersection: Bay & Front Street)
