This ride will follow mostly low-traffic streets through quiet residential areas. We will be riding at an average speed of about 18 km per hour. Those who sign up must have experience cycling alongside automobiles on shared streets. If you do not have such experience, you should not sign up for this ride.

Note: All participants in this event must ride with caution on city streets and obey all traffic lights and rules of the road.

Following the ride, which should take no more than about 4 hours, participants will be invited to join the event organizer at one of the local pubs for some food and refreshments.

Required Items to Bring:
Well-maintained bike and bike helmet (mandatory); bike lock; one spare tire tube and air pump (in case of a flat tire); suitable clothing for riding in cooler temperatures (it will be chilly along the waterfront)--layers are good as you can always add or remove a layer; bike gloves, in these temperatures, are still a necessity.
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
Strongly recommended: Front and rear bike lights and a fluorescent vest, so that you will be visible while riding in traffic.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:St. George Subway Station, where both subway lines intersect).

Notes:
If you are coming to this event by car, then you can park for 5-6 bucks for the afternoon in the parking lot on the south side of the apartment building at 276 St. George St., north of Bernard Ave. and south of Dupont St.
