Midweek Winter Walk: Belt Line (1/14/2009)

This is a great opportunity to practice/develop your night vision skills in a winter environment. We will start in Eglinton West subway station, and we will be walking thought the Belt Line Park to Mount Pleasant Cementery.

Note that this hike has a different start / end point. We will end in Yonge & St. Clair. To go back to Eglinton you will need to take TTC.

We will NOT be running, but it is not a slow walk. Most of the trail consists of hard packed surfaces, we are expected to walk over snow and/or ice.

Not cancelation due to weather conditions!!! There is a map at http://www.toronto.ca/parks/brochures/walks/DW_Central.pdf (we are doing only the Belt Line).

It is winter, so dress in layers

Eglinton West Subway Station is located at Allen Rd. and Eglinton Ave. West. We will meet outside the entrance doors.
