Itinerary:
During the holiday season Second Harvest runs a Turkey Drive to ensure that people in our city who can’t afford a turkey dinner on December 25th will have one. Our goal this year is to collect 5,000 turkeys, which Second Harvest will deliver to social service programs in time for a holiday dinner.

On December 6th select Loblaws locations have graciously allowed Second Harvest volunteer teams to use their store to encourage patrons to purchase a turkey for those in need. Volunteer tasks include handing out flyers, helping customers pick out frozen turkeys, running turkeys to the on-site Second Harvest truck and dressing up as the turkey mascot.

Look for me there with a TOC sign.

Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
Comfortable shoes/clothing for working in. A turkey costume.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:TTC to Christie Subway. Exit station and take Christie bus North to Dupont. Christie bus needs a transfer, it doesn't pull into the station.
