Itinerary:
With all the light pollution in the city we sometimes forget about the glorious skies above. Also, the closing of the Planetarium was a major disappointment for stargazers. However, here's a neat event.

"Oh my God! — It's full of stars!" shouted the astronaut David Bowman in the book 2001: A Space Odyssey, and starting this month, Bloor Cinema audiences will be saying the same. Hidden for over a year on the underside of the balcony, the largest starscape mural of its kind in the world is normally invisible but will be brought to life as a unique planetarium experience in a midnight show hosted by starscape artist Philip Kuntz:

INTRODUCTION TO THE NIGHT SKY November @ Midnight

Using powerful computer software, Kuntz will take the audience on a tour of the universe on our big screen, before revealing the overhead starscape, which has been designed to reproduce the sky directly above the cinema. Learn how to identify constellations, the paths of celestial bodies, and how to navigate using the stars.

This show only happens at midnight, there are no other times for it.

We'll meet outside the Bloor Cinema from 11:15PM onwards. Look for me and Victor holding TOC signs. Check in with either of us.
