Itinerary:

Mono Cliffs is a great place for a fall hike. There are lots of trails to choose from and relatively easy--only one steep climb and mostly rolling hills and some great lookouts. It contains a significant section of the Niagara Escarpment, including crevice caves, an upland limestone plain, and talus slopes. The park features two prominent masses of rock, separated by erosion from the main rock body. When this occurs, the resultant feature is called an outlier.

The max distance is estimated at 16.3 KM, so we will be going at a pace of about 3 KM an hour. Also, as I'm not too familiar with all the trails, we probably won't have time to explore them all. This hike is in between a beginner and intermediate level hike based on the trail and its length so it should be a good conditioning hike. You can find some additional info from our previous trips to Mono Cliffs.

We will meet and plan to leave Downsview subway station at 8:00 AM and should be at the trail head by 10:15 AM.
