Typically Thanksgiving is a time of plenty. Folks eat wonderful meals with their families and enjoy spending time together. However, there is another side to this.

Sadly, in these tough economic times, more and more people have to rely on food banks in order to feed their loved ones.

We'll be volunteering at the Daily Bread Food Bank helping to sort the items that come in during this busy season.

Required Items to Bring:

Very comfortable shoes/clothing. We'll be standing and sorting for the duration of the event.
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.

A non-perishable food item to donate is always appreciated.

Gloves (i.e. gardening gloves) help to pick up items and protect your hands from cardboard cuts.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Their location is at the corner of Islington and New Toronto Street. If traveling by TTC, take the

110 bus (not the 110A or 110B) south from Islington station and get off at New Toronto Street.

Please come to our Welcome Center, South West door. Look for me with a TOC sign.
