Itinerary:

Scarlett Woods Golf Course gets transformed into a disc golf course in the winter. And if the forecast for Friday is right, there will be quite a bit of snow on it as well.

You will need your own snowshoes. If the forecast is wrong about the amount of snow, we will just use winter boots & icers.

If you have your own disc golf discs, bring them, but attach a long colourful string to the bottom centre so that you do not lose them in the snow. However, I will have some spare beginner-friendly discs with me as well.

The plan is to snowshoe for a couple of hours and throw some discs towards and into the baskets.

Dress for the weather, in layers that can be taken off and added on, hat, gloves/mitts, etc.

Required Items to Bring:
  • Hiking boots/winter boots suitable for hiking in snow/snowshoeing
  • Layers of warm clothes
  • Water/snacks
  • Sunscreen for sun/wind protection if necessary
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
  • Disc golf discs
  • Camera
