So, the random hike picker has selected this urban hike for today.

This 7 KM hike will both start and finish at Cedarvale Station.

The hike will be on a combination of sidewalks, single track dirt trails, paved paths and gravel trails.

In terms of hills, there should be 1 hill of about 25 meters.

I'll attempt to stop for a washroom break at the Phil White Arena located about 1.5 KM into the hike.

I usually carry a pair of icers with me from the first snowfall of the year until the end of April, so I recommend having a pair in your pack to deal with any potential ice.
You can find the pair I use, 'HERE ON AMAZON'.

Event Directions:

Cedarvale Subway Station is on Line 1, 4 stops north of St. George & 5 stops south of Sheppard West and is located at Eglinton West and Allan Road.

We'll meet at the exit on the south side of Eglinton at the corner of Eglinton & Everden Rd across from the Allen Road exit.
The exit is located beside the police station and across the street from the TTC bus terminal.

Please be advised that from Line 1, this exit can only be accessed from the southbound platform.
Just use the escalators / or stairs to go over to the southbound side and then follow the at level passageway out to the Everden Road exit.
You'll also pass the concourse with the washrooms (that haven't opened yet)

For those of you driving, Cedarvale Station is located at the end of the Allen Road at Eglinton.
Address is 1335 Eglinton Ave W
There aren't really many parking lots in the area, so I would just suggest using street parking on the roads south of the station.
