So, I was inspired to create a brand new hike today.

This 15.5 KM hike will both start and finish at Guildwood GO Station.
However, if you get sick of my ugly face, we will pass Eglinton GO Station about 7.5 KM into the hike.

The hike will be on a combination of sidewalks, paved trails, single track dirt trails, grassy fields and wide gravel trails.

In terms of hills, there should be one 25 meter climb near the beginning and one 50 meter climb near the end.

This part of Scarbrough is pretty barren for washroom, but there is a community centre located about 4.5 KM into the hike.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE'S A SUBWAY CLOSURE ON LINE 1 BETWEEN OSGOODE & BLOOR YONGE STATION THIS WEEKEND

I usually carry a pair of icers with me from the first snowfall of the year until the end of April, so I recommend having a pair in your pack to deal with any potential ice.
You can find the pair I use, 'HERE ON AMAZON'.

Event Directions:

Guildwood GO Station is located on the Lakeshore East GO Line.
We'll meet at the north/main entrance to the station
(Look for me in the BLUE Toronto Outdoor Club shirt)

You have a couple options to arrive at the station via Transit.
---Take the Lakeshore East GO train 4 stations from Union to Guildwood GO Station
---Take the 86A or 86D Scarborough Bus from Kennedy Station and exit at Celeste Drive/Guildwood GO Station
---Take the 905B Eglinton East Express from Kennedy Station and exit at Celeste Drive/Guildwood GO Station

For those of you driving, Guildwood Go Station is located at 4105 Kingston Road.

Guildwood Station parking is free on weekends/holidays.
