Itinerary:

So, the random hike picker has selected this urban hike for today.

This 12 KM hike will both start and finish at Donalands Station.

The hike will be on a combination of sidewalks, paved parking lots, multi use trails and single track dirt trails.

In terms of hills, there should be about 2 stair climbs of about 25 meters.

I'll attempt to stop for a washroom break at Withrow Park, located about 2 KM into the hike and Monarch Park, located about 6.5 KM into the hike.

Post hike, if anyone's interested, I'm going to head to The Only Cafe for some drinks and will probably grab a pizza if anyone would like to come.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS A SUBWAY CLOSURE ON LINE 1 THIS WEEKEND BETWEEN ST CLAIR WEST AND KING STATION

For those unfamiliar with how I lead my hikes.

  • If you see me walking at a certain pace, you don’t have to walk at the same pace as me (I like to talk to different people on a hike, so I walk I different paces)
  • If you’d like to walk faster than me, that’s cool, if you like to walk slower than me, that’s cool too
  • We’ll meet up as a group when we take a major turn, cross a major intersection or if I think the group is getting too far separated.
  • We’ll do a water break, breather and sure everyone is aliver
  • I have two requests:
    1. If you choose to walk in front of me and you don’t know where you’re going, please stop and wait as I ain’t going to chase after y'all.
    2. Please no harassment, or else you won’t be welcomed back.
