Itinerary:

So, the random hike picker has selected this urban hike for this evening.

This 4.5 KM hike will start at Castle Frank Station and end at Broadview Station.

The hike will be on a combination of sidewalks, paved park paths, gravel trails and single dirt trails.

In terms of hills, there should be one nice steep climb for about 50 meters.

Sadly, the only potential washroom on this hike is presently closed for repairs, sorry.

For those unfamiliar with how I lead my hikes.

  • If you see me walking at a certain pace, you don’t have to walk at the same pace as me (I like to talk to different people on a hike, so I walk I different paces)
  • If you’d like to walk faster than me, that’s cool, if you like to walk slower than me, that’s cool too
  • We’ll meet up as a group when we take a major turn, cross a major intersection or if I think the group is getting too far separated.
  • We’ll do a water break, breather and sure everyone is aliver
  • I have two requests:
    1. If you choose to walk in front of me and you don’t know where you’re going, please stop and wait as I an’t going to chase after you.
    2. Please no harassment, or else you won’t be welcomed back.

That exit is on the eastern exit from the platform, also the one with the escalator.
If you don't know where the eastern side of the platform is, then follow the direction of the eastbound train.

For those of you driving, Castle Frank Station is located on the north-west corner of Bloor & Castle Frank Road.

In terms of parking, you can park for free
    • on the south side of Mackenzie Avenue, which is located one block north of Bloor, east of Castle Frank Road
