Doris McCarthy +Bluffs +Guild Park 16.4 km (8/18/2024)

Itinerary:

DISTANCE: about 16.4 km

PACE: about 5 km/h

DIFFICULTY: D4 (over 1/2 of the km will be on the sandy beach, maybe some stones, rocks and logs to negotiate)

WASHROOMs: at 11 km in Guild Park


This hike will be on a mix of paved, gravel, sandy beach, rocky beach, loggy beach, wooden walkways, and some dirt trail with mud likely.
We'll hike along the bottom of the Scarborough Bluffs starting and ending at the Doris McCarthy Trail head.
We will walk as far east as East Point Park, climb Sunrise Hill, then head back to have a lunch break in Guild Park.
then we'll head back to the Doris McCarthy Trail head through some parks and residential neighbourhoods on top of the bluffs
