Itinerary:

Carpool leaves from Sheppard West Station at 9:00 AM

DISTANCE: about 21 km
PACE: about 5 km/h
DIFFICULTY: D4 - some mud, hills and rocky sections with tricky footing

Let's hike the trails around Scotsdale Farm and Silver Creek Conservation Area.
We will be on the main Bruce Trail plus some side trails in the area.
There will be some hills, rocky sections and muddy areas.
We'll stop for a lunch break along the trail

Drivers, when you sign up for the hike, please mention the number of passengers you'll be able to take with you.

If you are meeting at the event, please arrive on time, as we will not be waiting past the hike start time.

Approx. Address is 13817 Trafalgar Rd, Georgetown, ON

From Sheppard West Station
Take Allen Rd South to ON-401
Head West on 401 for 36 km. Take exit 328 for Trafalgar Rd.
Head North on Trafalgar Rd for 13 km
Turn left on to Hwy 7 and drive for 3.4 km
At the fork keep right to get on to Trafalgar Rd.
Drive 1.7 km to the laneway going into Scotsdale Farm.

Meet in the parking lot at the end of the laneway to Scotsdale Farm.

Please arrive well before the start time, we will not wait for late comers.

I'VE SET THE MAXIMUM GROUP SIZE AS 4, AS THAT IS THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE I CAN FIT IN MY CAR. IF MORE CARPOOL DRIVERS SIGN UP, I'LL BE ABLE TO TAKE MORE HIKERS. THE MAXIMUM HIKERS THAT I AM PLANNING TO TAKE IS 16.
