At the 8 km point we will be stopping in Thornhill at a restaurant which serves delicious mideastern food, Laffa, Pita, Falafel, Hummus, Shawarma etc at very reasonable prices.
It is not a sit down restaurant, but there are some stools at the counter, and some outdoor patio seating (although maybe not this time of year).

We will hike along mainly paved, fairly flat paths and sidewalks, with a couple of tiny hills, and through some residential neighbourhoods.

This is the route we will take.

  • west along Finch Hydro Corridor to G. Ross Lord Park
  • north into Thornhill
  • have lunch at our restaurant
  • back to Finch Subway Station
