Is Mount Pleasant Cemetery Really That Pleasant (8 KM) (12/30/2023)

Itinerary:

So, today I'm coming off a day of being beaten up by a man.
So, I'm just looking for a nice pleasant walk.
First thing that came to mind was errr Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

This 8 KM hike will both start and finish at Davisville Station.

The hike will be on a combination of paved park paths, gravel paths and cemetery roads.

In terms of hills, there should be none over 25 meters.

Sadly, there won't be any washroom on the hike.
I typically just run into the Tim Hortons located across the street from the start point.

I usually carry a pair of icers with me from the first snowfall of the year until the end of April, so I recommend having a pair in your pack to deal with any potential ice.

    Event Directions:

    Davisville Station is located on the Yonge Subway Line, 1 stop south of Eglinton Station and 4 stops north of Bloor.

    The subway station exit is located on the south west corner at Yonge & Davisville/Chaplin.

    We'll meet just outside the station.
    If its cold or wet or if I'm feeling lazy, then I'll just be inside the station doors, probably sitting on the heating vent.
