Itinerary:

So, there's this ravine known as the Vyner Greenbelt that has been bugging me for years.
Does it work as a hiking trail?

Well today's hike will be about seeing whether it works or not.
My plan would be to try the 4 northern entrances to the trail to see if they work or not.
If they work, great, if not, no biggy.
If everything works perfectly, this hike should be 9.5 KM.
However, if we have to backtrack a little bit, the max should be 10.5 KM, so its not too bad.

This hike will travel between York Mills Station and Leslie Station.

The hike will be on a combination of sidewalks, grassy fields, single track dirt trails, wide gravel trails and paved park paths.

In terms of hills, there will be a 50 meter climb near the beginning of the hike, a 25 meter climb near the 4 KM mark and a tight little staircase towards the end of the hike.

Sadly, the one spot I would normally stop for washrooms at the Bayview Arena is presently flooded, so it is closed, so I'm unaware of anywhere else to stop for the washroom.
Typically, I use the washroom in the York Mills Go Bus terminal before the beginning of the hike.

PLEASE NOTE THAT LINE 2 IS CLOSED BETWEEN ST GEORGE AND BROADVIEW THIS MORNING UNTIL NOON
