Itinerary:

Welcome to my Hike For A Pint Series, where we'll be walking to either a brewery or interesting pub in the city.
The group size will be capped based on either reservation size or however many people I think I can get into a location.

You must be 19 or older to sign up for this hike.

Today's 6.5 KM hike will traverse between Lawrence Station to a mystery pub near the corner of Mount Pleasant & Eglinton.

If you register for this event, I'm going to ask that you come to the pub because:

  • 1. you could be taking a spot away from someone on the wait list who otherwise wanted to attend.
  • 2. Also because I could have a reservation and they are expecting a certain amount of people.

This hike will be on a combination of neighbourhood sidewalks, single track dirt trails, paved roads and wide gravel trails.

In terms of hills, there will probably be about 3 of at least 25 meters.

In terms of washrooms we'll pass one about 3 KM into the hike.

  • Required Items to Bring:
  • Hiking boots or hiking shoes
  • Water 1-2 L and snacks
  • Weather appropriate clothing
  • Money for the pub
  • Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
  • A smile
  • First Aid Kit
  • Whistle
  • $20 for your 2023 TOC Badge

  • How to Get There:
    Event Directions:

Lawrence Subway Station is located on the Yonge Subway Line, two stops south of Sheppard and 6 Stations north of Bloor.

We'll meet on the North-West corner of Yonge St and Lawrence Ave, right beside the City Market. If its cold or wet, I'll be just inside the station doors.

In terms of parking, there's free parking on Lympstone Ave, which is one block south of Lawrence, east of Yonge & on St Edmunds Dr, which is one block east of Yonge Street, south of Lawrence.
