Itinerary:
What do we want? SUMMER!
When do we want it? NOW!

Elora Gorge will be offering us lots of summer fun on this exciting car camping trip. In addition to the usual camping fun of hiking, smores, and campfire, we can go tubing!

There's a beautiful 2K tubing course that takes you through the heart of the Gorge. Relax as you float along and see the soaring rock walls and hold on to your tube as you go through fast-flowing turbulent waters. There is a possibility of being ejected from your tube, so caution is advised. Also, there's no entrance/exit anywhere along the course, so once you start, you're committed to the entire length of the course.

Registration and equipment rental rates
  • Registration fee: $2, applicable to all participants
  • Tube only: $13, deposit $5
  • Helmet only: $8, deposit $50
  • Personal flotation device only: $8, deposit $30
  • Complete package: $20, deposit $75
  • An imprint of a VISA or MasterCard is acceptable for equipment deposit

If you're not into tubing, that's okay. There are other activities in Elora. We'll go hiking and check out Elora Quarry.

There's fun to be had here. Come join us!

This is a dry campground. Alcohol is not permitted.

There will be a pre-meeting in early June to finalize the plans. The exact date will be announced in May.
