Itinerary:

Welcome to my Hike For A Pint Series, where we'll be walking to either a brewery or interesting pub in the city.
The group size will be capped based on either reservation size or however many people I think I can get into a location.

You must be 19 or older to sign up for this hike.

Today's 8 KM hike will traverse between Main Street Station to a mystery pub near the corner of Danforth and Donlands.

If you register for this event, I'm going to ask that you come to the pub because:

  • 1. you could be taking a spot away from someone on the wait list who otherwise wanted to attend.
  • 2. Also because I could have a reservation and they are expecting a certain amount of people.

This hike will be on a combination of paved sidewalks, grassy fields, single track dirt trails and randomly a GO Station platform.

In terms of hills, there's probably about two 25 meter climbs; one up a road hill and another up a long flight of stairs.

We'll primarily be in ravines or neighborhoods, where there are no washroom options available.
However, there's a Tim Hortons across the street from the start point, which is a good option.

    We'll aim for a pace of 4-5 km/h.

NOTE: Food options are limited at this location, but your welcomed to bring your own or order in from other restaurants.

I usually carry a pair of icers with me from the first snowfall of the year until the end of April, so I recommend having a pair in your pack to deal with any potential ice.
You can find the pair I use, 'here from Amazon'.
