EVENT DETAILS

So, I did a walk to the Wychwood Barns Farmers market for the first time in 2021 and I'd like to go again.
The last time I was there, they had amazing butter tarts, so I'm hoping for a repeat.

This 3.5 KM hike will start at St. Clair West Station and end at the Wychwood Barns, near the intersection of St. Clair West & Christie.

This hike will be on a combination of wide gravel trails, paved parking lots and concrete roads.

WARNING: This hike will contain a long, looong, loooong 25 meter staircase UP that would challenge both 'Kung Fu Panda' and I.
So prepare to suffer

There won't be any washroom stops on the walk, but there is a washroom located in the Loblaws above St Clair West Station at the the Barns.

We'll aim for a pace of 4-5 km/h.

Post market, its a short 15-20 minute walk back to St. Clair West Station from the market.

I usually carry a pair of icers with me from the first snowfall of the year until the end of April, so I recommend having a pair in your pack to deal with any potential ice.
You can find the pair I use, 'here from Amazon'.
