EVENT DETAILS Welcome to my Hike For A Pint
Series, where
we'll
be walking to
either a brewery
or interesting pub in the city.
You must be 19 or older to sign up for this hike. Today's hike will traverse 5.5 KM
from
Greenwood
Subway
Station to a mystery location near
the intersection of
Eastern & Coxwell.
If you register
for this
event,
I'm going to ask
that you come to the pub because:
The majority of this hike will be on paved park paths and neighbourhood sidewalks, but there will be 1 section through a muddy, sometimes icy ravine. In terms of hills, there's a short staircase out of of the ravines, but not too crazy. I don't think there's any washrooms on the hike, but its a short hike. We'll aim for a pace of 4-5 km/h. PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS A SUBWAY CLOSURE ON LINE 1 BETWEEN OSGOODE & KING TODAY I usually carry a pair of icers
with me from
the first snowfall of the year until
the end of
April, so I recommend having a pair in
your pack
to deal with any potential ice.
