4.5-5.5 km/h Night Hike: Rosedale, The Flats to Playter Estates (12.5 KM) (7/19/2022)

Itinerary:

By signing up for this event, you agree to, and acknowledge, the following:

EVENT DETAILS

So, July 18th is the 12 year anniversary since my first coordinated TOC event.
Sadly, I typically work until 10 PM on Mondays, so I'm making up for it today, by going to my favorite trail in the city, known as "The Flats"

This 12.5 KM will traverse between Rosedale & Chester Station.

PACE: We'll aim for a quicker pace of 4.5- 5.5 km/h

The hike will be on a combination of sidewalks, paved park paths, gravel trails and single track dirt trails (which could be slippery if wet)

In terms of hills, there are probably about three. We'll have two climbs of 50 meters and 1 climb of about 25 meters.

Sorry, there won't be any washrooms available on this hike.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS A EARLY SUBWAY CLOSURE ON LINE 1 BETWEEN ST CLAIR AND COLLEGE STATION AT 11 PM

    Rosedale Subway Station is located on Line 1 (Yonge), one subway station north of Bloor and 4 south of Eglinton.

    Look for me in the BLUE Toronto Outdoor Club shirt near the lone entrance of the station

    For those of you driving, there a Green P parking lot located just south of the station on the west side of Yonge Street.
