By signing up for this event, you
agree to, and
acknowledge, the following:
EVENT DETAILS So, this is potentially the most difficult urban hike I lead in the city. We'll spend the majority of the
hike on the
single
track mountain biking trails that
traverse the Don
Valley.
This hike is incredibly
challenging and
actually pretty sketchy in several
sections.
NOTE: Expect to be traveling
between 4.0-
10.0
km/h, as the trails can often feel
like riding a
roller coaster on portions
of this hike. Please also note that should the
weather be
predicting rain either on this day or
the day
prior,
this hike will be cancelled
on safety concerns. Sorry, no washrooms on this route.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS A
SUBWAY CLOSURE
ON LINE 2 BETWEEN JANE & OSSINGTON
STATION THIS
WEEKEND
| |||||||
| |||||||
How to Get There: | |||||||
Event Directions: | Lawrence Subway Station is located on the Yonge Subway Line, two stops south of Sheppard and 6 Stations north of Bloor. We'll meet on the North-West corner of Yonge St and Lawrence Ave, right beside the City Market. If its cold or wet, I'll be just inside the station doors. In terms of parking, there's free parking on Lympstone Ave, which is one block south of Lawrence, east of Yonge & on St Edmunds Dr, which is one block east of Yonge Street, south of Lawrence. Look for me in the BLUE Toronto Outdoor Club shirt. MAP
