By signing up for this event, you agree to, and acknowledge, the following:

If you are unvaccinated and have travelled outside of Canada within the last 14 days, you are compelled by law to be in quarantine and cannot lawfully attend this event, as per the Federal Government’s website

You will take and pass the Ontario COVID-19 self-assessment on-line questionnaire. within 48 hours prior to the start of the event.

Should this event involve a car pool, you will wear a face mask at all times when inside a vehicle

We will meet outside the Rouge Hill Go Station ticket building at 10:00 am.

We will then walk along the lakeshore all the way up to the Frenchman's Bay (~6.5 km) in Pickering. We will take a break on the beach, and return via the same path (another 6.5 km).

The Waterfront trail is almost entirely flat. We will aim for a pace of 3.5 km/hr: feel free to walk faster, if you want to reach the destination earlier and enjoy more time at the beach.

Apart from the GO train, several TTC buses stop at the Rouge Hill Go Station Loop or the Lawrence Ave East at East Ave bus stop. Please use Google Maps to find out a suitable way to arrive at the Station by 10 am.
