Executive
Interim COVID-19 Rules for the Toronto
Outdoor Club
- You must meet the following four
conditions to participate in any TOC events.
Within the 14 days preceding the event:
- You have not travelled outside of Canada;
- You don’t have any COVID-19, cold, or flu
symptoms;
- You have not knowingly been in contact
with a confirmed COVID-19 case;
- You have taken and passed the Ontario COVID-19
self-assessment on-line questionnaire.
- You will bring a cloth mask/face covering,
which you will wear during the event meet-up,
plus any time during the event when the 2m
social distancing is not possible.
- You will comply with any other rules as
detailed on the TOC
Rules Amendments
- You will comply with any additional rules
set by the organizer of the event for which
you have registered, which could be more
strict than the ones detailed above.
NOTES
- These rules are in effect immediately and
until further notice.
- YOU MUST CONFIRM IN THE "NOTES"
SECTION DURING SIGN UP THAT YOU MEET ALL
THE CONDITIONS LISTED IN THIS DIRECTIVE AND
YOU WILL COMPLY WITH ALL THE INTERIM RULES.
Your event coordinator has been
instructed to remove your event registration
without further notice if you do not take this
step during your registration.
- Your coordinator may also remove you from
the event (even after it has started) if you
fail to comply with the rules, and report you
back to the TOC Executive.
- If you cannot or do not wish to follow
these temporary rules, please wait to sign up
for any TOC events until the interim rules are
lifted.

the pandemic.

PACE: 5 km/h

be ice in the ravines.
we'll stop for a snack break on the
beach
We might do the route in reverse of what is
shown on the map
And we might walk an extra km on the beach
east of the R.C. Harris water treatment plant,
depending on the weather and wave situation.
Our route will take us thru:
- parks
- a GO station
- residential neighbourhoods
- 2 really nice ravines
- the grounds of R.C. Harris water
treatment plant
- on the sandy beach (or the boardwalk, your
choice) for 3 km
- near Ashbridge's Bay Pumping Station
- Williamson Park Ravine along Small's Creek
- then back to Main St station

Required Items to Bring:
- mask / face cover
- ICERS
- Remember to bring your icers!! There will
be ice in the ravines.
- bring your OHIP / health card
- whistle
- cell phone
- water 1 to 2 L
- good footwear
- weather appropriate clothing

shine, but not thunderstorms

will start promptly at the start time.
