EVENT DETAILS So, once a month I get a massage and I'm always tired for about 24 hours after. However, I still like to get some fresh air and exercise, so this will be just be a short slower urban hike. So, today's 4.5 KM is just a short loop both
starting and finishing at Old Mill Station.
This hike will be on a combination of wide paved park roads and some neighborhood sidewalks, which could be covered in snow and ice. In terms of climbs, I do have one climb, which is over 25 meters. There is no washroom on the hike, sorry. We'll aim for a pace of 3.5 to 4 KM/h I usually carry a pair of icers with me from
the first snowfall of the year until the end of
April, so I recommend having a pair in your pack
to deal with any potential ice. PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS A SUBWAY CLOSURE BETWEEN ST CLAIR AND FINCH STATION THIS WEEKEND | |||||||

How to Get There: | |||||||
Event Directions: | Old Mill Subway Station is located on the Bloor/Danforth Subway line, 12 stops west of St. George and 3 stops east of Kipling. (Look for me in the BLUE Toronto Outdoor Club shirt standing outside the the entrance of the station)If its cold or wet, I'll just be inside the station doors. For those of you driving, there's a free parking lot in Kings Mill Park located at 21 Old Mill Road, which is just north of Bloor. Interactive MAP
