From The TOC
Executive Interim COVID-
19 Rules for
the Toronto Outdoor Club
- You
must meet the following four
conditions to
participate in any TOC events.
Within the
14 days preceding the event:
- You have
not travelled outside of Ontario;
- You don’t
have any COVID-19, cold, or flu
symptoms;
- You have not knowingly been in
contact with
a confirmed COVID-19 case;
- You
have taken
and passed the Ontario COVID-19 self-
assessment on-
line questionnaire.
- You will
bring a cloth mask/face covering,
which you
will wear during the event meet-
up, plus any
time during the event when the 2m
social
distancing is not possible.
- You will comply
with any other rules as detailed
on the TOC Rules Amendments
- You
will comply with any additional
rules set by
the organizer of the event for
which you have
registered, which could be more
strict than the
ones detailed above.
NOTES
- These
rules are in effect immediately
and until
further notice.

SIGN UP THAT YOU MEET ALL THE
CONDITIONS LISTED
IN THIS DIRECTIVE AND YOU WILL
COMPLY WITH ALL
THE INTERIM RULES.
Your
event coordinator has been
instructed to remove
your event registration without
further notice
if you do not take this step
during your
registration. - Your coordinator
may also
remove you from the event (even
after it has
started) if you fail to comply
with the rules,
and report you back to the TOC
Executive.
- If you cannot or do not wish
to follow
these temporary rules, please wait
to sign up
for any TOC events until the
interim rules are
lifted.
Thank you for
your
understanding and your cooperation
as we keep
each other safe during the
pandemic.
Please note: I've set the Maximum
Group Size to 1 so that all registrants
will automatically go to the waiting list.
Members on the waiting list who have
confirmed in the NOTES section that they meet
all the Conditions and will comply
with all the new Rules specified in the
above Directive may then be added to the
event, up to a maximum of 8 participants.
EVENT DETAILS
Total distance is about 10
km and we will maintain 5-5.5km/hr pace. We'll
travel
between High Park Station to
Queens Quay at Rees St.
Streetcar
Station (which is just south of
CN tower). Note that this is a one-way hike.
This hike will be on a
combination of paved
park trails & dirt trails. Will have at least one
washroom break.

How to Get There: |
Event Directions: | | Traveling by subway you get of at the High Park Subway station on the Bloor line. Go to High park avenue and turn right(south). Cross Bloor and enter park; I will be there on the other side from the Map.
Traveling by car going east bound on QEW get off at Lakeshore and turn north on Parkside Drive. Traveling west on QEW/Gardiner get of at Dunn ave and Turn north on Parkside Drive. Follow Parkside to Bloor and turn Left(west) to the next set of lights and turn left into the High Park. There is some parking just inside the park find a spot and walk back to entrance. | |
