Directive From The TOC 
Executive Interim COVID-19 Rules for 
the Toronto Outdoor Club     - You 
must meet the following four conditions to 
participate in any TOC events. 
  Within the 
14 days preceding the event:  - You have 
not travelled outside of Ontario; 
 - You don’t 
have any COVID-19, cold, or flu symptoms; 
 - You have not knowingly been in contact with 
a confirmed COVID-19 case; 
 - You have taken 
and passed the Ontario COVID-19 self-assessment on-
line questionnaire.  
    - You will 
bring a cloth mask/face covering, which you 
will wear during the event meet-up, plus any 
time during the event when the 2m social 
distancing is not possible. 
 - You will comply 
with any other rules as detailed on the TOC Rules Amendments  
 - You 
will comply with any additional rules set by 
the organizer of the event for which you have 
registered, which could be more strict than the 
ones detailed above. 
  NOTES  
    - These 
rules are in effect immediately and until 
further notice. 
 - YOU MUST 
CONFIRM IN THE "NOTES" SECTION DURING 
SIGN UP THAT YOU MEET ALL THE CONDITIONS LISTED 
IN THIS DIRECTIVE AND YOU WILL COMPLY WITH ALL 
THE INTERIM RULES.  
 Your 
event coordinator has been instructed to remove 
your event registration without further notice 
if you do not take this step during your 
registration.  - Your coordinator may also 
remove you from the event (even after it has 
started) if you fail to comply with the rules, 
and report you back to the TOC Executive. 
 - If you cannot or do not wish to follow 
these temporary rules, please wait to sign up 
for any TOC events until the interim rules are 
lifted.

each other safe during the pandemic.

 Meet at the Queens Quay Ferry Dock Terminal.
 Please arrive early as the ferry will leave without you.  Also, the ferries are running at half capacity.  First come, first served. We must wear a mask at the ferry dock, and on the ferry.
 Explore Toronto Islands
 end at Queens Quay Ferry Terminal.  However, you can stay longer and make a day of it, if you would like to.

 PACE = 4 km/hr.
 
 Please arrive early, with your ticket, and line up for Ward's Island, departing at 9AM. If you need to buy your ticket at the ferry dock, please allow extra time for that.   | 
| Event Directions: |   | If coming by subway you have two choices at Union Station.
 1. go outside and walk 10 mins south on Bay Street to the Ferry Dock Terminal.
 2. at Union Station, take the #509 HARBOURFRONT To EXHIBITION streetcar.  They come every 10 minutes.  Exit at the first stop called  Queens Quay Ferry Docks.  Cross the tracks, walk left a short distance, exit up the stairs to the street.  Walk straight ahead to the traffic lights.  Cross the street to the path to the Ferry Docks.

event will be cancelled 
in the event of thunderstorms.
