Directive From The TOC
Executive Interim COVID-19 Rules for
the Toronto Outdoor Club - You
must meet the following four conditions to
participate in any TOC events.
Within the
14 days preceding the event: - You have
not travelled outside of Ontario;
- You don’t
have any COVID-19, cold, or flu symptoms;
- You have not knowingly been in contact with
a confirmed COVID-19 case;
- You have taken
and passed the Ontario COVID-19 self-assessment on-
line questionnaire.
- You will
bring a cloth mask/face covering, which you
will wear during the event meet-up, plus any
time during the event when the 2m social
distancing is not possible.
- You will comply
with any other rules as detailed on the TOC Rules Amendments
- You
will comply with any additional rules set by
the organizer of the event for which you have
registered, which could be more strict than the
ones detailed above.
NOTES
- These
rules are in effect immediately and until
further notice.
- YOU MUST
CONFIRM IN THE "NOTES" SECTION DURING
SIGN UP THAT YOU MEET ALL THE CONDITIONS LISTED
IN THIS DIRECTIVE AND YOU WILL COMPLY WITH ALL
THE INTERIM RULES.
Your
event coordinator has been instructed to remove
your event registration without further notice
if you do not take this step during your
registration. - Your coordinator may also
remove you from the event (even after it has
started) if you fail to comply with the rules,
and report you back to the TOC Executive.
- If you cannot or do not wish to follow
these temporary rules, please wait to sign up
for any TOC events until the interim rules are
lifted.

DISTANCE: 16.5 km
PACE: 4.5 km/h
DIFFICULTY: D4 (Distance, some bike
trails, but an easy D4)
This hike will be along a mix of pavement,
gravel and dirt paths. We will go along some
paved paths and then switch to bike trails
to make it interesting. Lots of ups and
downs.
This is the route we will take.
- start at Lawrence and Yonge
- through parks and ravines and some bike
trails
- through Crothers Woods
- take a short break for lunch
- up Beaumont Park and through David A.
Balfour Park
- end at St. Clair Station

How to Get There: |
Event Directions: | | We'll meet on the South-East corner of Yonge
St and Lawrence Ave, near the 'Locke' branch of
the Toronto Public Library across the street
from the Lawrence Subway Station Entrance.
Lawrence Subway Station is located on the
Yonge Subway Line, two stops south of Sheppard
and
6 Stations north of Bloor.
There is free street parking in the area
