Itinerary: | |||||||
Summer is here! Time for a evening hike in High Park taking advantage of all the hills. I'm not super strong at hills but here's a chance to get some in. I plan on starting at Runnymede Station, head into the park, wander around all the different trails, and end back at Runnymede Station 2 hours later. We will stick to the nature trails as much as possible. I do not have a specific route in mind. I hope to go steady 4 km/hr pace for the entire 2 hours, taking very short breaks at the top of some of the hills, especially the difficult ones. Please be aware that this is meant to be challenging walk, not a stroll. Total distance should be about 8 km. Please arrive on time as we will be leaving within five (5) minutes of the start time.

Event Directions: | Runnymede Station is located on Line 2 (Bloor- Danforth) in the west end of the city. We will meet inside, near the Runnymede Exit. I will be wearing the blue Toronto Outdoor Club t- shirt
