Itinerary:

-Meet at Downsview TTC Carpool Lot
-Drive to True North Climbing Gym (10 mins)
-Indoor Rock Climbing (3-4 hours)
-Drive to Downsview TTC Carpool Lot (10 mins)
-Enjoy the rest of the weekend


Required Items to Bring:

-Water
-Athletic clothing
-Padlock to secure your valuables
-Flip-Flops (more comfortable than climbing shoes)
-Positive attitude and a few jokes (Jokes -> Fun - > Smiles)

Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.

-Bring climbing gear if you have it (harness, shoes, chalk bag)


How to Get There:
Carpool to Event Distance (round trip):9Km

Carpool Cost: Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $2.32 (calculated at total Km * $0.258, effective Thursday, November 21, 2024). This is based on $0.08/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divide by 9. Your event coordinator will confirm exactly how much money is required from each person.

Notes:

If you require climbing gear (harness, shoes), the gym RENTS these items.

Everyone must pass a belay test prior to climbing. This is free test.

If you are unable to pass the test and would like to climb, you will have to get a lesson and then pass the test.

Note, THE TEST IS FREE but THE LESSON IS NOT FREE.
