Itinerary:

The St. Clair loop is one of the most popular and easy hikes in the city. I've done it dozens of times the same way. So this hike is me trying out a slightly different route. This hike might require backtracking. Basically, I want to see what's just off the routes the TOC volunteers usually take.

The general route will be:

  • South through David Balfour Park (but on the west side of the river)
  • Continue towards Brickworks
  • North through Moore Park, but crossing the bridge Heath St west.
  • Through the Mount Pleasant Cemetery, but with some detours to Bayview and such.

Estimated Distance: 8 km

  • Hiking Boots (not running shoes)

    St. Clair Subway Station is located on the Yonge/University Subway Line, 3 stops north of Bloor Station.

    We'll meet at the subway entrance located on the SOUTH side St Clair Avenue, which is right beside a McDonalds.
