Itinerary:

So I haven't done this hike since December 2012, so I think its time to bring it back. I like this one because it a nice, looooong walk to really stretch your legs

The hike itself is primarily on recreational trails, but could very well be covered in ice and snow this time of year. The final 2 km is a gravel trail, most likely covered in snow, so hiking boots and a flashlight are recommended.

We'll start at Victoria Park Subway Station.

  1. Depart Victoria Park Subway Station
  2. Travel through Tailor Creek Park, through the Don Valley Trail to Sunnybrook Park, through Serena Gundy and Sherwood Park
  3. End at Lawrence Station

Total distance traveled = 13 Km

Good footwear

Water 1-2 L and snacks

Flashlight or headlight

Weather appropriate clothing

Victoria Park Station is located on the Danforth Subway Line, 2 stops west of Kennedy & 11 stops east of Yonge Station.

Meet beside the collector's or fares booth, inside the station, closest to the Victoria Park Exit.
