The terrain is variable, hilly with rocky sections. Distance is about 20 km, pace is 4.5 km/h. This hike is suitable for intermediate hikers. Hikers coming on this event are expected to have recent D4 level experience. If you don't have a history with the TOC, please include some comments in the notes about your hiking experience. We will meet at the Devil's Glen Provincial Park, start off with a gradual climb up the escarpment past the Devil's Glen Ski area and into the Nottawasaga Bluffs Conservation Area, take the Keyhole Side Trail passing through small crevices and narrow openings in the rock, visit the bluffs, and take the Mad River Side Trail along the Mad River back to our starting point. Those willing to drive and regular D4 hikers will be given preference on the waiting list | |||||||
