Itinerary:

This is probably 1 of my favorite hikes in Toronto.

We will be following the old Belt Line

There is no major difficulty in the terrain, just a couple of hills, but we will be hiking at a good pace.

The hike is about 11 km overall and we will hike at 5.0 per hour plus.

We will follow this path:

  1. Depart from Eglinton West Station
  2. Follow the Belt Line
  3. Detour around Mount Pleasant Cemetery
  4. Follow the Moore Ravine south
  5. Follow the Vale of Avoca ravine north
  6. Arrive to St. Clair Subway Station

This hike will be 11 km, We will follow the Belt Line and Central Ravines Discovery Walk

You are suggested to bring a flashlight or headlight for this trip.


Required Items to Bring:
  • Good footwear
  • Water 1-2 L and snacks
  • Flashlight or headlight
Recommended Items to Bring:

  • Icers/something to aid in traction on a potentially icy trail.
  • Snacks

Event Directions:Eglinton West Subway Station is located at Eglinton West and Allen Road. Look for me at the entrance of the station.
