As we tour half of Toronto Island – from Centre to Ward’s Islands, we will stop and identify about 20 different trees. This will be a slow hike, as we’ll be stopping a lot! We’ll take the 6:00 ferry to Centre Island, and catch the 8:45 ferry back from Ward’s Island. If we miss that one, the next isn’t until 9:45, so … I don’t want to miss it! If we happen to get to Ward’s early, we can stop for a quick snack at the Island Café. Obviously, you can’t be late for this event. The ferry will leave without you!
