Participants must be able to hike at a minimum of 4k/hour pace to come on this hike. It is the responsibility of those coming to ensure they can hike at this pace before joining us. There will be no dropouts. Participants must show they are able to hike the distance and terrain. We will be hiking the Bruce Trail section ( 20 km in and out ) from Mulmur Hills to Murphy's Pinnacle -a grassy hill providing a great view of the surrounding countryside and back ; and the outstanding narrow verdant valley of the Boyne River. If the Toronto Hiking site says that the trail is 'difficult' to follow you know this should be fun to find our way. Always an adventure but you know the scenery will be spectacular as usual. Part of the Bruce Trail system and close to Mono Cliffs and tthe Hockley Valley it is a popular hiking destination. Our hike will go, rain or shine (and there is a chance of rain/snow). Do not sign up unless you are prepared to go out in the rain. | |||||||
