A cult classic now, Showgirls wasn't so well-received when it first came out. Given time, audiences found new love for the cheesy acting and according to WIKI, folks "were throwing Showgirls irony parties, laughing sardonically at the implausibly poor screenplay and shrieking with horror at the aerobic sexual encounters" We'll be checking out Showgirls at the new Toronto Underground Cinema. Meet outside the entrance doors on Spadina for 9PM to get seats, concessions, etc. Movie starts at 930PM. Thanks to my largess you'll get to watch the movie at no charge tonight :) | |||||||
