Itinerary:

Good Cardio fitness improves your health and makes hiking / backpacking more enjoyable(no really, it does!)

Start at the level you are comfortable with and work your way up (just remember it's supposed to be training so it ought to be a bit tougher to do). Really, really good training (good cardio) for your hikes/backpacking trips to come or just to improve your overall stamina. Better to train (aka suffer) now and enjoy the trip later!

In the span of 1 hours, we will complete the circuit oh, maybe about 5-7 times .

You are welcomed to power walk around the park as well.

As is customary, we'll head to a pub(Yonge/Sheppard) after for refreshments.

So come on by and have a great time!

This is excellent conditioning for elevation on hiking trips...


Required Items to Bring:
  • Hiking Boots

    NO RUNNING SHOES

  • Water/hot drink
  • Headlight or flashlight, as it will get dark later in the evening
  • Walking/ski poles will be very useful

Earl Bales Park located at 4169 Bathurst Street, one light south of Sheppard Avenue West. Enter the park and continue on straight to the BACK parking area by the WASHROOMS/SKI HILLS

From Wilson Station - Bathurst 160 Bus.

From Sheppard Station - Sheppard 84 Bus.

From Bathurst Station - Bathurst 7C Bus.
