Itinerary: | |||||||
After a long work week, come enjoy a hot, home-cooked community meal and then go ice-skating at a park!
At Dufferin Grove Park, on Friday nights, there is a community dinner; the food is always delicious and nutritious. There's a vegetarian option, and a meat option. Food prices are only between $2-$6 for a full meal. Curious about the food? Check out past menus. After a nice, warm meal, we'll lace up our skates, and head out to the outdoor rink at Dufferin Grove Park. We'll enjoy skating for a few hours, and then call it an end to the work week. This may be one of the last outdoor skating events of the season -- outdoor community parks such as this one close down in mid-March, depending on the weather. Come, and enjoy the end to this aspect of the winter season! Note: I will have a very limited number of 2010 Toronto Outdoor Club patches available this evening. They're $20 and cover all your voluntary donations for the year.

How to Get There: | |||||||
Event Directions: | We'll meet at the Dufferin subway station on the Bloor/Danforth line. It's a 5 minute walk from the subway station to Dufferin Grove Park.
If you are driving, and would prefer to park at Dufferin Mall (across from the park), please let me know in the notes section, when you respond.

Voluntary Donation: ( What is this?) Suggested donation amount for this event is: $1.00/Person.
Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our Cancellation Policy carefully! *Note: Please plan to attend both the dinner, and the skating afterwards. The dinner is part of the community-bonding experience! It's also much easier to meet as a group, rather than picking up extra people as the night progresses. Please sign up only if you plan to come to BOTH the dinner, and the skating afterwards. |
