January 29 to February 11, 2010 is Toronto's WinterCity Festival! This will be the 7th year for this winter festival, and most of the events will take place at Nathan Phillips Square (100 Queen Street West). On January 31, come see the world premiere of "Glacialis: The Ice Orchestra". The WinterCity website describes the Ice Orchestra as follows: In Glacialis, artist and composer Jesse Stewart creates and plays original music on instruments designed and built out of ice. These special performances promise to be a wondrous experience for the eyes and ears, a frozen garden of delicate sonic beauty. | |||||||
